CANYONEERING IN COSTA RICA

DIAMANTE FALLS

The South Pacific coast of Costa Rica is a region of huge rainforest covered mountains, waterfalls and of course, great canyoning

First, we will assemble at our Tinamaste Beach Road Office @ 8:00 A.M. for mandatory safety course. Then we will then be transported into the jungle and dropped a short hike from the river and then we’ll proceed down river (which is an adventure in itself!), shooting through natural water chutes, past boulders as big as houses, through untouched Jurassic Park like areas very few people will ever see.

We will then rappel alongside spectacular waterfalls for some of the most exciting descents in the country, floating through pristine jungle pools and steep canyons along the way.

We have had some of the more experienced tour guides in the country tell us, this is one of the best tours they have ever been on. Anywhere. This tour could make your hair turn white, give you a total adrenaline rush or even change your life. It is that cool…you have our word on that.

We are totally at the mercy of Nature and can only run when the river allows us. Generally, from Dec. through May.  Please inquire for availability.

We acept all major credict carts & paypal

What is minimum age for passengers?

That is a parental decision.

Where are you located?

Our tours originate from Tinamastes. Tinamastes is located approximately 15-20 minutes east of (above) Dominical, towards San Isidro del General.

What should we bring?

For quad tour: Sunblock, camera, fanny pack for camera, sunglasses, hat, swim wear and an extra set of dry clothes, because you never know.

For rappelling tour: good shoes that can get wet (no flip-flops!!),  Tennis shoes work best. Experience has shown that most water shoes/sandals are worthless on wet rocks,  Waterproof camera if u have one, clothes that can with stand getting wet, rappelling and walking and BIG smiles!

Is breakfast, or lunch, included?

Lunch is included in rappelling tour.

ATV Tours include fruit snacks and beverages. Lunch is available for an additional $10 and well worth it. Highly recommended.

Should we eat before tours?

We recommend eating and hydrating before all tours.

What is minimum age for rappelling tour?

Generally, no one younger than 15. However, if a person can demonstrate a certain level of maturity and aptitude, we will make exceptions. This is a strenuous, possibly nerve-rattling tour. If your child backs out, it is a looong walk.

Please remember parents: YOU are responsible for your child and  any occurrences which may arise through their actions, or negligence.

Do you offer other tours, like fishing, diving and canopy tours?

No. We believe it is better to do a few things and do them very well. However, we do know most of the tour operators in the area and will gladly offer referrals to the best and put you in touch with them.
