At Diamante Verde Tours we tear the page out of conventional tour books, recycle it and take you beyond ordinary tourist destinations.

We are a small tour company specializing in fun and adventure. We keep our tours small and intimate for several reasons: mostly to minimize noise, dust and environmental impact.

Plus, our smaller, exclusive tours are much more of a profound experience than you’ll find riding with 15 other ATVs or waiting in a line to rappel. That’s how we roll.

We offer ATV tours through the jungle, the rainforest to the beautiful Waterfalls.

Coffee Tour

We visit Diamante Falls (as close as we can get without a major trek) going to an ancient Indian burial ground overlooking the falls to an area I call: Big Medicine. It is truly a special place.
We follow the Diamante ridge through jungle and rain forest to San Luis waterfall where you have the opportunity to hike as close as you dare to the falls

Nauyaca Tour

From there, we head into Las Tumbas (Valley of the Tombs) following the Diamante ridge and ancient Indian trails into pure jungle where you will experience pristine waterfalls, crystal-clear mountain pools and stunning vews.

This truly takes you into the untamed Heart of Costa Rica!

Eco-Chontales Waterfall

The more I do this tour, the more I like it. This tour covers more ground than our other tours. It is an all-day tour.

we make our way up the front of Chontales Mountain through some interesting terrain to the top of the mountain and the small town of Villa Bonita and onward to the tour’s highlight: Eco-Chontales Waterfall (20 min moderate hike in/out)

“What a fun day we had with James! We will do it all over again the next time around. He made sure we were all comfortable with our ATVs, took us through some scenic places and waterfalls, gave us a tour of Emilio’s coffee farm where we tasted one of the finest Costa Rican coffee, and arranged for an awesome lunch at a friend’s place overlooking the Diamanté waterfall and the mountains.
